i'm currently using a volcano 8 and its gotten to the point where the dust is effecting the performance of my heatsink (i think)... current temps on idle is 64C. it wasn't like this before. My question is, is the Bergquist 225U interface material (came with the heatsink) useable again after i take off the heatsink? if not, is it possible to take this off with regular alcohol so i can apply a fresh coat of AS3? thx in advance for the help.
 
No. All of those pads are one-time use. Scrape it off with a plastic tool so as not to scratch the heat sink. Remove the remnants with naphtha (lighter fluid) and rinse with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Tada ready for AS.
