BeOS & GeForce

There is one you can use -it is a vga compatable or something like that, it makes the colors more vibrant etc. Got it off of a link on nvidia's site.

I don't own anything nVidia, but the term "BeForce" comes to mind. I think someone figured out the necessary parameters to get this chip to work in BeOS.

-SUO

the driver issue is the biggest one for Be right now. If there were more out there more people would write for it. and with the peliminary OGL results looking like it totally crushes windows I cant wait to play Q2 on it. Q3 is supposed to be ported, but probably wont be for a while yet.

The more emails a company gets saying:
a) I bought X because of your BeOS driver
-or-
b) I did NOT buy Y because you don't support BeOS
-or-
c) I have Z and I want a BeOS driver or I will never buy from you again

the more they will listen. From what I here, Be will write the drivers, but Nvidia hasn't given them any specs. They're bastards, that company, with that review scandal and all...

BeOS rules. You might want to edit the vesa script to tell BeOS to run in a certain resolution at a certain color depth. That will get you out of the vga safe mode. And, I don't know if this will work or not, but you could try putting the tnt's driver and accelerator into the corresponding driver folders on the boot/home tree. Probably won't work, but what the hell eh?
