Benwin Speakers: Opinions?

What do you folks think of Benwin speakers for $40? Or is there anything better for the same price range... Please help

Labtec Pulse 424.

I tried some "flat panel" Benwin ( cardboard with speaker glued to it) and they were acceptable (OK for office cubicle) with an old ISA SoundBlaster but sounded like crap with modern integrated sound.
