Ben you seem to know what your talking about. So if I go Geforce3 Ti 200 I have some options. I have been 3dfx all the way for years.. and I have always been a big believer in buying the card from the main company (i.e. 3dfx) since I know it will be built the way they want it. Of course nvidia doesnt do that... so who do I buy from

Im not to concerned about the cost since the most expensive of those is 195... what do you think.. or do you think there is someone even better.

You might want to check out my thread called ~"buying a vid card today", I did a short run down of what I've heard 2nd/3rd hand so far on each brand.

Gainward tends to be the best. Anandtech recommended the Gainward GF3 PowerPack as the best GF3 money can buy. Also, with Gainward's succeses with their GF2 line--implementing faster RAM onto the chip (3.5ns on the MX, 4.5ns on the Pro)--they have a good background for greatness.

Also, Gainward has better 2D than some of the other companies. PNY and Inno3d, tend to be more of the generic type, who try to keep price down by worse implementation of their RAMDAC filters.

Other good companies are Elsa and Visiontek.

gainward has a card out buy I dont understand it.. its called a card expert.. whats that.. its a ti 200. I thought there ti 200 was going to be a ti/450
