I never liked the idea of 1080p at 27". It might be good for gaming but I don't think I'd like it for normal desktop work. I have the 32" and it's a very nice monitor but it also has some drawbacks. 32" is really big. It's taken me a while to get used to the size and to find a good distance between my eyes and the screen. There can be some noticeable color banding with shades of black. And finally the near perfect blacks can actually be a problem in some games. For instance the Witcher 3 can be really dark. I had to change the contrast in the nVidia control panel to get optimal lighting. Some of the things I like are the fit and finish and the presets on the menu remote. With a touch of a button I go from an eye saver setting for work, low brightness settings for night, and a calibrated color setting for gaming. It's not a gaming monitor but I think it does alright. The fastest game I play is Titan Fall and I don't notice any ghosting but I've never noticed ghosting on any modern monitor.

The BenQ between those 2. However, if you can save a bit more, maybe you can find a middle ground with a 1440P @ 144Hz G-Sync monitor.

I also have the BenQ BL3200PT. It is amazing and well worth the money! Amazing picture quality. I'm very satisfied with it! Games look almost movie quality like.

Same here, typing this at work monitor on BL3200PT and it is epic. Hard to beat this quality/size at price point.
