okay this is just speculation... but I am guessing this is very similar to the XL2410T.......

the difference being that it supports lightboost for Nvidia 2

so my question is... does anyone think it they will shrink the bezel at all on it? Or make any changes besides the backlight being different?

I doubt they will change the bezel, may be a revision to make it lightboost compatible.

The XL2410T is over 1 year old, so it's time for a redesign imo. But SirPauly could very well be right, especially since the product name only suggests a minor revision (10 --> 20).
But I really hope the new lightboost monitors (Asus,Benq,Acer,...) will be an improvement over older 120Hz monitors. And I don't only mean in terms of Lightboost, but also IQ,etc.

the XL2410T's bezel is already pretty thin, although its annoying how the sides are a tiny bit thicker than the top and bottom, and its even more annoying how the control button row protrudes down on the bottom right of the screen creating a nonuniform frame

They've already fixed a few quirks with newer revisions of the 2410 so there's always hope that they continue to improve things with the 2420.
