Well, my instinctive calculatory mind swiftly reports back to me... 16/8=2. Common sense tells me that even if this performs anywhere close to twice as fast as current 16ms panels, it will have a piss poor viewing angle and a color range of about 5. Red, blue, green, white, and light gray.

This ISO standard for response times is bullshit and needs to be replaced. Now they are creating panels that only improve in black/white transitions so they can slap a better rating on it.

It's more like 33% of the time (for being a bit slower than the 20ms Hydis) only but, yeah, the ISO standard does leave a lot to interpretation, and response time should definately be viewed as a "peak" rating.

Also, what is up with BenQ's insistance of putting that moronic bright, huge blue LED in the middle of the panel? On my Samsung 710T, it's a tiny spec of green in the corner (as on most Samsungs), but Benq puts it right in your face.

That led isn't bright and doesn't distract, In fact I think it is much better than the little very bright green led in my old Hyunday TFT.
