Like the title says, I'm considering these two TN panels. I currently have a Samsung 204B (20.1" 1600x1200 5ms TN panel) and want to upgrade to a bigger screen. I mostly game, surf and watch movies on this screen.

The only differences I've been able to see between them are:
1) Weight - T241W is about 5lbs heavier (18 vs 13)
2) Power - T241W lists 70W compared to 55W for G2400W
3) Price - T241W is $450 FS at newegg versus about $410 shipped for G2400W

Anyone know why the newer model is heavier & consumes more power? Is it better, enough to justify the extra $40?

as far as I can tell (from the manufacturer site only), the more expensive one can tilt vertically, the G2400W can't.

I want a G2400W >_>

Thanks, I hadn't noticed that feature.

Don't think that's worth $80 difference though.

Jeez, I really don't need a new LCD...but it looks glorious, doesn't it?

Well, to be fair, the tilt can be useful. I'm running this current monitor (random work computer) tilted because I need the vertical real estate more than horizontal.

Definitely not worth $80 to me either, though.
