BenQ FP241WZ opinions?

Anyone own this new monitor yet and care to share their experiences?

There have been a number of threads on different sites debating the tradeoffs of reducing motion-blur for lowered brightness. Have not seen many personal experiences from actual owners though.

If you have a FP241WZ, do you own any other non-BFI monitors to compare it with?

Do you actually use the motion-blur reduction or leave it deactivated?

Do you find yourself switching it on/off depending on the application?

Any other feedback greatly appreciated.

Have you seen this thread?

From what I've gathered, the Perfect Motion/BFI feature does reduce ghosting, but introduces flicker which I'm not sure I could put up with. I think I'd prefer the ghosting as long as it wasn't too severe...thankfully it can be turned off if it's not wanted.

Thanks, don't know how I missed that thread when searching.

Agree with you, as long as the feature can be turned off don't see any major downsides. It also appears the new FP241VW uses the same AU panel.

Will probably be ordering a couple within the next day unless I troll across anything negative. So far all the feedback seems to be positive.
