True... the big deal they make about HDMI seems kind of gimmicky to me. On the other hand, having HDMI and DVI effectively gives you two DVI ports, since you can easily convert between the two. So at the very least you're getting an extra digital input that supports HDCP.Originally posted by: zerogear
i don't understand why people keep on complaining about HDMI input. All in all it is a DVI input which also has audio line in it. So unless your monitor can output sound directly, there is no reason a monitor should ever need HDMI.
