Some guy calls into the Fan today and says: "i'm going to say something no one seems to be talking about. Benitez is a victim of Racism. If he had been white people wouldn't have hated him so much". (paraphrased)

OMFG, does he know NOTHING about baseball?? People don't give a SH1T that benitez is black. He is hated because HE CHOKES in big games. OTOH, braves fans, like myself, LOVE seeing him go up to save a big game.

I hate it when people play the race card with NO KNOWLEDGE, People like that are the racist if you ask me.

have you noticed a trend, all players in the past years who go the mets organization seems to fvck up! when they head to other teams, their stats all rise (except cendeno, bonilla, etc.. - those are lost cause) 😀
