381-Jerk. Basically if a fan is unruly, or uses profane language, fans can call that number at the game and the fan will get removed. What the hell do people expect at a football game? Go catch a figure skating event if you can't handle it.

Would have helped me if they had this in Seattle. I flew to a Seahawks game to see my Dolphins play about 4-5 years ago when they were still in Husky. I was wearing my Dolphins jersey and like 5 Seattle fans came up to me and spit on me and then threw nachos at me.

Wait a minute. This is coming from the organization that has had more arrests this offseason than if they signed OJ?

Saw this on the news last night. When a call is received, they use video cameras to find the problem being reported, (you tell them where it's happening) and an officer is sent out to take care of it.
OP, you can't possibly defend the actions of some fans, just by saying :
"What the hell do people expect at a football game? Go catch a figure skating event if you can't handle it. "
Many fans are just stupid about this game, and cause trouble for anyone who dares wear any clothing that supports the visiting team. Look at Oakland fans...The "black hole" fans throw batteries and all kinds of crap at people. Many people get assaulted for wearing a ball cap of the opposing team. Remember the @sshole and the snowball incident a couple of years ago in Green Bay?
How can anyone excuse such behavior? It's a GAME, and is supposed to be fun for all to watch. Too many people in this country (and other countries as well) get way too worked up over watching millionaires play a silly game.

Boomer I agree with you on issues of assault and battery. But profanity? Come on, it's football! Also, you should expect half a beer to spill on you from some fat guy sitting above you every time you go to a game :)

Well, at least your not at a Raiders' game wearing the opposing team's jersey. I heard they just stab you in the neck w/ broken bottles.

Went to a Raider's pre-season game in 2001 and saw 3 Dallas fans hospitalized all in three different fights.

Don't forget it's not just adults at the games. These events should be family friendly.

Quoting this because I'm still cracking up after reading it.

They're not going to remove a fan because he dropped the f-bomb once during a game in front of a row of school children, but this will be good for fights and fans that really get out of hand. My buddy said it's not uncommon to see fights break out at Bengals games, so it's obviously something they needed. I'm all for having a good time, but a drunken idiot who's making an ass of himself should probably be removed from the stadium before they do something stupid like fall over a railing.

Lot of talk that the Panthers will be doing this too. There's also a rumor that further restrictions on alcohol sales are coming to BofA Stadium.

Now what I wanna know is, when did Panther fans ever get a rep for being unruly? I've been to plenty of games and we've got the tamest atmosphere of any stadium. If anything, its more of a wine and cheese crowd. I'd say 70% of the fans don't even own any logoed apparel--they just show up in a polo shirt and khakis. We're not even allowed to bring signs/banners. So why the crackdown on Panthers fans???

i'm going to call them on chris henry and say he may not be be noticably breaking the law at the moment...but he is certain to do so again soon.

This is primarily to take care of the drunk kentuckyans and the occational pittsburg or cleveland fan acting up

You should have brought it up to the ushers. I use to usher at Husky games, those kind of behavior will result with 1st time warning and then 2nd time kick out of the stadium.

Edit: Forgot this was an old thread.

They have these people called ushers who can provide you with the same service. At a Royals game in September, I'd imagine the usher to fan ratio is probably 1:1.

Horrible advice. Visiting fans are cheering for their teams just like the home fans are cheering for theirs.
