No. I would think it would be a waste of money. I have a charcoal based water filter to run tap water through, but that's about it. The ionized water stuff looks like BS.

It will magically cure all ailments, including cancer. However, pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know this so they can make money selling you drugs for cancer.

What the hell is "ionized" water?

I read that whole page, and I believe all of the science is sound, right up until the "What is ionized water?" part. Which is how these sites work.

The debunk page you linked to lays the smack down.

These units do nothing, and could even be dangerous depending on what the electrodes are made out of. :Q

I thought by the chemical nature of H2O that it was slightly (-) anyways.

I guess if you owned an ionized water business it would be a benefit.

I looked at this and thought "no way, you don't want ionized water in your loop, are you trying to damage your components?". Old habits die hard.

I like to buy ionized water and unsalted butter at the health food store. Then I go home and add salt to my butter and deionize the water....

Then buy some organic lettuce and spray pesticides on it. That'd piss off the hippies.

Water has slight polar charges at each end, i dont think the ionizing process would work all that well for purification purposes.

I have heard of it being used, but not for drinking water.

Regular H2O is somewhat ionized anyway....so I don't get what you're talking about.

Do you mean de-ionized water?

I hope not. I seem to remember DI water being very, very bad for you.

Yeah, I was thinking "Crap, we sure wasted a lot of money on that deionizer for the lab"

I must be weird, because MY body produces enzymes like catalase and superoxide dismutase to take care of those nasty free radicals. Good thing there are products out there for the rest of you.:p
