Benefits of an A.S. in CompSci?

I am making my educational plan while taking my lower division courses at JC and I noticed that my school has an AS program for Computer Science, Computer Networking, and Computer Tech Support. Which of these would be the most beneficial to me while I search for a part time enrty level position from which to gain experience?

People with BS in CS are out of jobs.
An AS isn't worth more than a fraction of a BS

So there must be no hope...I'll slit my wrists and wait for death in the corner.

OK you asked for opinions and I gave you mine.

I have friends that are 3.5 years into a CS degree that haven't been able to find a decent job since they started looking their sophomore year.
After two years, that had far more credentials than someone with an associates would have, and they were still taking low paying, temporary internships without a full-time potential.
