I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering (with an emphasis on aerodynamics), and have about a year and a half left. I am thinking about adding a Business Admin. minor.
Is it beneficial so when I have a job, I will at least have some business skills. It just seems weird to me if I graduate without taking a single business class and have no business training at all. If I ever become a manager someday, isn't this a pretty important skill to have?
I have electives to fill, so it would only take about 3 additional classes to get a minor. I'm just wondering from people who have done this or if it's a waste of time and I should choose other electives.
I also figured future employers would be impressed by someone having business skills as well.
