I was messing around with some minor overclocking of my video card ( BFG6800 0C NU ) and thought I would post the results. I used cool bits to overclock the card and used the detect optimal settings tab and set the card to 368 mhz core 737 mhz memory. My cpu is a 3200+ overclocked to 2.2. 220x10 @ 1.34 vcore. The funny thing is in prime 95 it won't even get started on the torture test before it fails, but it runs 3d mark 03 , 05, aquamark, and plays games like HL2 and FarCry great. Stable as a rock.

3DMark 03 = 9872 ( not great but not bad either )
3DMark 05 = 3858 ( again not the best )
Aquamark = 56,453

Seems to running great other than prime95. Half Life 2 @ 1280x1024 with all the eye candy on is smooth as silk!!! I might go farther with my CPU, but so far I am happy
 
I have a BFG 6800nu in one system, it clocks to 390 core, and ~760 on the RAM. It can go to 800 on the RAM, with a pink screen. :roll:

You should try unlocking that card. I have everything fully unlocked with no artifacts.

As for Prime95... You either don't have enough voltage to the CPU, your RAM might be marginal at that speed, and timing, or Prime95 is getting your CPU too hot. Prime95 heats your CPU a lot more then the other stuff you listed.
 
I tried to unlock the pipes and got artifacts galore!!! The vortex shader unlocks fine ( 12x6 ) My temps seem stable 36-38c idle 48-51c at load ( playing HL2 mostly ) Those temps are not great, but not high enough to cause problems.

i have the exact same thing

havent been able to try much overclocking when dividers are concerned and no ones really told me or explained why i need my sata drives on the silicon image controller so i just bumped the fsb up to 220 along with the ram, so 220x11 = 2.42GHz and it fails primes in like 2mins but i cant do anything else to my hearts content
