GeForce FX 5600 (non-ultra) 256 MB Video RAM

I'm getting 8200 in 3dmark2001 after some video card overclocking even. Could my PC2100 ram being holding me back ~2000 points?

How? I have a Soyo PY-P4VTP with a VIA PT800 chipset.

EDIT: google brings me disappointment:

The older PT800 chipset provided only single channel memory support while the newer PT880 brings dual channel memory support to the table.

Point to learn : Always check pro's and con's about mobo to buy 🙂

2x256mb DDR266 in dual-channel are fastar than a stick of hyper fast furious speed at Single-Channel

In my second machine i had for somedays 2x256 OEM DDR333 and they gave me about 3300 in Sandra.
3600 with some overclock.
With my old 846PE, with some very priced memory i would turn, 3200/3300.... impressive. with memory at very high FSB...
