Benchmarks? Q9400 vs Q9450

Both run at the same speed, only difference is 6mb cache for the 9400 vs the 12mb cache for the 9450.

Been scouring the internet trying to find benchmarks which compare these two CPUs. Couldn't find any, so maybe you guys could help.

For instance, if i was running both CPU's at stock speed, and I played Crysis or FC2 at a fairly high resolution, how much more fps would I get with the 9450. Would the 9400 see significant less fps?

Theres a thread I believe that I read here on AT just the other day about a french site that tested like 51 cpu's... anyhow, look for that and the difference was not much at all between the 2 chips.

I would say not worth it. Go for the cheaper one.

thanks larry.. yeah it seems that at high resolutions the cache size doesn't really matter. Q9400 it is!
