Benchmarks at 1920x1080

PS3 will do native HDTV 1920x1080p resolution rendering at sustained fluid frames (60 fps?)

Now, PC VPUs are geting more HDTV support like that from ATI with their WMV 10 HDTV support. Of course, each generation of VPU is rasing the 3D performance bar.

Is there anywhere benchmarks for rigs at 1920x1080p resolution ? Just to find out how far a current systems will be behind a PS3.

Most benchmarks still max out at 1600x1200, although that's only slightly less total pixels than 1920x1080 (1.92 million vs. 2.0736 million). The only problem is that sometimes games don't change the FOV with the aspect ratio, so in a true widescreen mode you'd be rendering more objects possibly...

Some hardware sites have run 2048x1536 (or whatever it is) benchmarks on this latest generation of cards and they ran pretty well IIRC.

I've done a few here.

Some even have AA enabled too. 🙂

Just to find out how far a current systems will be behind a PS3.
Behind? Based on those scores a PS3 will seriously lag behind a single 6800U/X850 system while SLI and G70/R520 will will make it lag behind even further.

But with more complex 3D load, the current PC VPUs will come to its knees. In 3D Mark 05 isn't it in low fps for HDTV res? this is the question?
