Benchmarking with Comanche 4 ... not working?

Ok, I downloaded the benchmark demo from Novalogic's site and in the README it tells me to run the launch.exe program and then type in /bench ... at least that' how I understand it. But there's a problem: my system won't run launch.exe. It keeps giving me an error. I re-installed, same story. Is there another way? There doesn't seem to be a way to bring down the console in the game.

Nevermind, I misread. It says to run the executable with /bench in the command line option. But when I bring down the console and type in /bench and hit enter, the console disappears and nothing happens. Any ideas?
