Is there any good free benchmarking software out there? I want to test some of the multi-core hot fixes from M$ to see if they are yeilding good results. I have found a few, like from futuremark, just want to make sure I am getting quality without viruses/spyware.

Aquamark 3 takes advantage of SMP I think (I run a P4 and it has options to turn HT optimisations on/off). You could give that a try.

Nope, the free version will give you a score. It takes a few seconds after it runs to calculate the score so don't close it too quickly. 😉
