Hey guys,
I'll be benchmarking the new Seagate 2.5" 100GB 7200RPM soon and was wondering if there were any apps you would want to see used. Here's what I'll be using as of now:

HD Tach
-Random Access
-Burst Speed
-Average Read
-Provide screenshots of the graphs

PCMark
-HD total
-XP startup
-Application Loading
-File Copying
-General HDD Usage

Sisoft Sandra
-File System (this may be omitted)

Also using BatteryMark and MobileMeter to measure batt life & heat output.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!!
 
Please test noise output during idle and during load.

edit: this is assuming you have the proper professional equipment.

If not, as good of a subjective review as possible! Thanks!
 
We will definitely be testing audible noise in a subjective way, unfortunately we really have no professional equipment for that.

Anyone have any suggestions on other I/O Performance measurements? Thx!
