To put it simply, current synthetic benchmarks overall, do a disservice to the hardware community and everyone that will ever buy a 3D video card or a computer that has one installed.

Heh, dumb HardOCP. Never really liked them, and glad to see them spewing information everyone already knows. This info has been around a LONG time. It's basically marketing and so company A can have bragging rights over company B because they do better in test C, which in reality means nothing.

ATi's response was pretty much what I expected. Didn't address the key points and just kind of beat around the bush. It's obvious neither them nor nVidia are going to be upfront about this subject.
