Would running prime95 for a while and speed fan be an effective way of measuring CPU temperature?

Also when I run SuperPI I see a bunch of jibberish numbers and no readable information. Ideas?

yes running prime 95 is basically the hottest ur cpu will get and the super pi thing i think is normal u wont see nay messages i think i dont use it hto ..dotn worry about it if ur comp is stalble
just run p95 for about 10 + hours and if its still go then i call it stable but i usually rin it for about 19 hours for me and the hottest ur cpu will get is wen u run p95 for abotu 5 mins and more ...and turn down teh fan to see how hot it will get.. if u want but if it gets too hot dont do that
