I have that program already, but thanks anyway. what I'm looking for specifically are programs that can not only benchmark but put an enormous strain on the CPU to see if it's stable. sorta like SETI@Home and Quake but can benchmark too.

theres a prog called "stablilty test" which i found is useful for determining your sytem is stable as the name implies. look for it at
