I'm gonna start a smallish, unbiased benchmark/tech opinion site, mainly focusing on gaming and overclocking. I'll post the link here once I have some articles up and hope it gets some interest from the community!
I see a bunch of the benchmark sites have snazzy bar graphs to compare CPU/GPU speeds in an easy-to-read form, in .gif or .jpg format. Is there any software out there that can help me do this with minimal effort? Or does everyone just photoshop it? Seems like a bit much work if you're doing several benchies with graphs every week. I could write a silly little perl program using GD to made the graphs myself, but I'd rather not take the time. GD can be a bear sometimes.
Any suggestions? I know I don't want to photoshop all of these. I know photoshop frighteningly well, it'd just be too much work. If there aren't any solutions as far as pre-made programs go, I'll write something in perl/GD as a CGI app so other benchmarkers can use it. Should take me less than a day. And of course, I'll post the link so all you benchmarkers can use it as often as you like!
If you have any suggestions for my (potential) GD app, post them here. Shouldn't take me more than a day of hacking to get it up and running.
ANY help/suggestions appreciated!!! Thanks.
