[Avalon]

I make it a habit of benchmarking my system(s) every time I get a new video card, a new CPU, or overclock. After finishing my round of benches on my new 3850, I realized I had a crap ton of benchmarks across various games using multiple cards, processors, and settings, so I figured I'd post them. It should show what an average person with a good gaming rig is getting in realistic situations.

I guess I should end this post with conclusions...for my first conclusion, as some of you may already know, an E2xxx CPU sucks for gaming. If my Opteron was clocked at 2.9, I'm not sure if there would be a discernible difference. More conclusions later

Fixed a couple typos and ordered the results. I'll have the other 6 games up when I get home from work this afternoon.

Good results BFG. Should definitely complement what I have, since the majority of my latest cards have been ATI and you've got a bunch of Nvidia ones.

Would love to see some Crysis and UT3 numbers



On a side note, my brother's Visiontek 3850 256MB card on a E2180 2.0GHz gets 7800 in 3Dmark06. So you gained quite a bit by overclocking your cpu to 2.9GHz.
