We got a business aDSL line here at work, I'm not sure how much we're paying but we paid for a fixed 'variable' speed of 748/512 or something like that.. a couple weeks after it was working/setup it went down and I was on the phone with them for an hour wondering what the problem was.. after they fixed it I checked the settings on the router..
Sure enough downstream is set to 7440 and upstream is like 480. I thought 'no way...' so I do some test downloads.. 650k/s easy.. 'whoa!'.. it's too bad we're getting a lowly 1.4/.4 T1 installed in a few days to replace this beauty
