Belkin Wirless G Router $9.99 AR at Home Depot

First, this really is HOME Depot; it is not OFFICE Depot. Second, this is a bricks and motar only offer, the offer isn't good through a web site. Third, purchase must be made by 12/31/04. The router is now priced at $49.99 with a $40 rebate.

Belkin Rebate Open "Promotions," go the the "Rebate Center," and look up "Belkin." You need to print out the rebate certificate from there.

In the hope of avoiding a lot of discussion on the subject, Home Depot carries a limited supply of computer and audio\video related products. I think it's a great place for cables (RCA). This stuff is near the electrical department.

I first saw this from KaGee on FatWallet.

Stupid question, but what section does Home Depot carry wireless routers in? Electrical?

It's a "Wireless 54g Router" F5D7230v4. Hard to believe but Belkin has is "Products" page "under development." Hey Belkin, welcome to the early 21st century.

Awesome! Staples had the same one for FAR a while back so I am going to grab this one up (2 for $10) and then link them for better coverage.

Thanks OP.

I think I have that model. It does WPA. I also got the PCMCIA wireless card for laptop. That's good too. 🙂

Just ordered the router, pci card, usb adapter, and pcmcia card. Each $9.99 after MIR. I can finally upgrade from B to G. Thanks!

I bought that router on BF at Office Max. I hate it. It loses my connection several times a day. I gave my Linksys B away and regret it.
Not trying to threadcrap, hopefully the router will work great for everyone else.

Same here. I picked up the Belkin router and two USB 802.11G adapters. I had to take one of the adapter back because it constantly loses connection and the router loses connection about average every three hours. Hopefully it is only this router, but I can't be too sure.

BTW: cool moniker. My roomate has a Busa and I have a Ninja 🙂

Typically a firmware update will resolve that issue. Did for me. Love my Belkin Router.

Did you use hacked firmware or the one from the Belkin site?

Hey, if you have one that works, I'm curious as to what firmware you're using as well. Mine wouldn't even hold a configuration long enough to try WPA.

$69 at my B&M HD (and a stack of $20 rebates on the shelf). They would not PM to their website price. 🙁

You have the best of the 2 IMO. Both of mine are 03's and my 12 is stronger let alone much better at handeling.
I get better times on my 12 also, on the Busa I cant break into the 9's---same mods on both. The downside, since I like the 12 so much more, it has nearly 3x the miles of the Busa🙁

No Joy here in IL. I checked out two HD and neither one had any new Belkin products. One did have wireline only routers for $19.99, reduced from $49.99.

Bummer, I was really looking forward to finding one of these.

I have the F5D7230-4 Version 1444
Belkin firmware 4.03.03

Not one problem with this router...in 2 months anyway. Was using a Linksys (4 years) BEFSR41 V.1 prior to that. This is better.

the same deal is at CompUSA.....(ccome on people, read the newspaper)....

I don't think people should bother posting this deal anymore b/c there is a $9.99 wireless router every week now.
