Belkin UPS is beeping at me!

It doesn't do it often, but every few hours (maybe longer), my UPS will let out a loud beep or chirp. Anyone heard of them doing this before? Any ideas on what it might be?

Edit: Oh, it's a Universal UPS 1000VA, in case that helps

quite often they'll do that if your line voltage drops even tho you don't know it is taking place

Usually they start beeping right before thermal-nuclear meltdown.

Maybe the battery is dying? I know the old APC I just replaced did something similar.
