I priced match this ups at frys to the Microcenter price of 64.99. It was supposedly on sale for 99.99 at frys. HA
THis is my first UPs, and before I go and take it out of the box, I was wondering if you guys have any experience with this one. I sleep in the same room as my computers and turn them off at night. The only noise in the room is the air purifier at night. Does this thing hum or makes any noise what so ever? Are ther any other issues that you guys can tell me about. I can return this thing tomorrow.

The only noise you may hear is when the unit kicks in to Back-up mode
or when the AVR line conditioner enables (a slight click). Otherwise it
is silent.
 
And, you can also turn it off.

By the way, I've had one of their 400's for two years and love it and the software with it. I leave mine on 24/7 and needed the unattended shutdown feature.
