Belkin Router..

I currently have a Belkin router and I want to set up Remote Desktop. I have no idea how to unblock the port number to allow Remote Desktop to work. Can any of you guys help me out?

The port number is 3389.

Belkin makes many models. Yours probably came with a manual.

I have a Belkin and the area of the interface you want to be in is Virtual Servers. Older versions of the firmware had two things which seemed to do port forwarding, but I could never get it to work. Upgraded the firmware and now it's just down to one screen and actually works.

The IP you use to get to Belkins is 192.168.2.1. Password is blank.

you have to put the same ports in the right hand column, as well as the left column. because they are blank, that is where your problem is
