Belkin router trouble

I was trying to do somthing so I tried going to my wireless router options and did what I needed to do. The connection(reason why I went on the options) stopped so I tried going back but now I cant. I think the router is locking itself up for who knows what reason. I have a Belkin F5D7S30-4 ver 2000 wireless router if this info helps any. I have a xp wich apperantly has somthing that lets you go back in time so somthing that happened to your computer acts as if it never occured, I thought it might help if I go back in time on the dell xp before it locked up the options to see if I can get back on it and do what I need to do but im not sure how to.

Your router is totally independent of your computer so going back in time won't help anything there.

Is there a firmware upgrade available for your router from belkin?

does it only mess up when connected wirelessly? try hooking up with an ethernet cable for a while to see if that is the problem... also what did you change if you increased wirelss security it can sometime be too much for the router to handle.

Actually its ds wifi that cant connect to it,lol. Does restarting the router work? I mean like uninstalling then installing again?

Edit: I also tried disconnecting my laptop from the wireless router but it wont let me, just stays connected no matter how many times I press disconnect.
