Belkin router speaks French

I have a wired gateway router from Belkin that I reinstalled because the wireless wasn't giving the right results. With the wired in place I have a few more options with the wireless that I can then use as an accesspoint.

Since I reinstalled my wired Belkin router it speaks French :Q and I seems to have lost my password.

Now off course I want to set it to a language I can actually read (English or Dutch)😉 and regain control of it. Does anybody have an idea how to make a clean start with this thing? I can't find squat on the Belkin site:|, so once again I turn to thee oh network wizards...

Hmm.. I went to Belkin's site, chose the Support Center and did a search using "F5D5231" and immediately got a hit HERE that provides plenty of info including the manual for the router. If you look into that PDF file you'll find that on page 5 the following:

5. Reset Button
The ?Reset? button is used in rare cases when the Router may function
improperly. Resetting the Router will restore the Router?s normal operation
while maintaining the programmed settings. You can also restore the factory
default settings by using the Reset button. Use the restore option in
instances where you may have forgotten your custom password.

a. Using the Reset Button to Reset the Router
Push and release the Reset button. The lights on the Router will
momentarily flash. The Power/Ready light will begin to blink. When the
Power/Ready light becomes solid again, the reset is complete.

b. Using the Reset Button to Restore the Factory Defaults
Press and hold the Reset button for five seconds then release it. The
lights on the Router will momentarily flash. The Power/Ready light will
begin to blink. When the Power/Ready light becomes solid again, the
restore is complete.

That should do it.

I tried both a and b. I have internet connection (obviously). The router though insists being of French origin. I think I am going to contact Belkin about this. Hopefully they react before I have my degree in French.
