i got one listening to how good they are

well its a POS. connection speeds blow, i get better on dial up, my dlink 614 is 4 times as fast.

only thing the belkin has is range , my notebook picked it up no problem

but i know its the router as i plugged the computer directly into it and it was only giving like 500 on 3mb cable and it even got so slow i ran a speed test and it took so long to just get to the page.

what a POS

I'm not a big fan of Belkin networking equipment myself but they are definitely a lot better than what you described. It sounds to me like you got a bad unit and you should definitely look into getting it replaced.

Either you have a faulty unit, or it's not the router causing the problem. Anything should be able to push 3Mb on a normal speed test.

Also, if English is not your first language perhaps you could ask a friend to explain the problem next time? You are not easy to understand.

well maybe you need to learn frustrated, its like english but you use your brain to understand the parts that are left out

There is always High Negative Correlation between the use of profanity the Level of English among those that English is thier first Language).

The following is a partial ciatation form a Manaul of ? How to be a leader?.

DON?T
use profanity or obscenity
The moment you use profanity, you run the risk of losing the respect and
attention of some of your listeners.

DON?T
lose your patience
If a listener asks you to go over a point again don?t get upset. His/her inabil-
ity to understand might be your failure to explain it properly. Repeat the in-
formation or use a different approach to make your point clear to him/her.
DON?T
exaggerate
Not only should you never stretch the truth, but it would be wise to under-
state your case. Never make any statements you cannot prove.

In any case the Belkin Pre-N is considered by many reviewers as the best deal of among the Pre-N devices, and there are thousands of people that using it happily.

However, in my experience Belkin has a relatively high incidence of individual units that escape QA and do not work well upon arrival. I would try to exchange the unit Belkin usually accommodates the clients.

"well its a POS. connection speeds blow, i get better on dial up, my dlink 614 is 4 times as fast."

So from slowest to faster you have: Belkin -> dialup -> Dlink

and if you dlink is 4 times as fast, that means you arent even getting 212 kilobits per second on your dlink at best
