Hey all,
Just changed from a Linksys WRT160N to a Belkin Play F7D4302UK and everything has gone smoothly apart from one thing. For some reason using the Belkin I don't think my PCs and devices (I have a Popcorn A110 too) are able to broadcast their presence to eachother anymore.
I can directly access them using their IP addresses but other than that even though they are all on the same Workgroup they can no longer find eachother to browse, also Homegroups can't be created anymore as they don't recognise another PC on the network setup for it. I can only assume that the Belkin is blocking some form of broadcast packet but I can't work out what one and if so how to open the port, the only options are port forwarding but whatever port it is that needs to be opened needs to open globally open, not just forwarded to one IP address.
Oh also this morning I discovered that the QoS doesn't seem to work. I set my XBOX 360 MAC address as Highest and my PC QoS as Normal but when I am downloading from Rapidshare (which uses all of my bandwidth) then the 360 Sky streaming slows down so it doesn't seem to be prioritising traffic at all?
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Russ
