I've got a 2-computer Belkin PS/2 KVM switch, using a Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard. To switch computers you hit scroll lock twice and the up-arrow. It works fine with most computers but recently there have been some that I couldn't toggle back from. I could switch to the computer but couldn't toggle back. This has occured on an MSI board and a PC-Chips board, everything else I've tried has worked fine. Too complicate matters I tried using a run of the mill gateway keyboard and it works fine on any computer. So it seems to be certain combinations of keyboards and motherboards that won't let you toggle back. Any ideas on this one, I can't seem to think of anything that would cause this.

I get the same from an old switch I had. Seems like it was the nature of the beast. It would get stuck on a PC mid boot. I think it was an unsupported resolution or refresh rate the KVM didnt like. Once the PC's main screen would come up or if I shut down the machine it would work again. I just bought a new KVM instead. 2 port ones are like $10.00 after rebate with built in cables. Usually at buy.com.

My recent one is an 8-port D-link. So far loving it.
