belkin 802.11b router as wireless bridge

I have a wireless network already set up in my house. Today I pulled out an old desktop I have, but it doesn't have a wireless card. I don't expect to use it more than a month, but I'd like to get internet access on it. It's too far from the main router for a wired connection.

I found the thread on using the WRT54 as a wireless ethernet bridge. I have an extra wireless router (belkin 802.11b) lying around, not a WRT54. Is there any way for me to use the 802.11b as a bridge to my main router?

As far as I remember none of the old 802.11b Wireless Routers can function as a Bridge.
