Belkin 525VA UPS w/AVR for $69.99 outdoor @ OD B&M.

Ok I'm not sure if this is a hot deal or this post belongs to the brag&moan thread: They have two Belkin batteries there, 525VA (399-381) and 325VA (399-351). They listed in their ad the specs of the 525VA: up to 32 min. backup time, $80,000 connected equipment warranty but the part number of the 325VA, price is $69.99. I argued with them and waited for about 20min and finally got the 525VA one.

Note that this is NOT the one at CC in this thread Belkin 525VA UPS only $49 after rebate. This is the newer model, F6C525-SER and on belkin.com they say the software works for Unix too.

I didn't check the website. I just went to the store and picked up an ad there. I suppose they can't correct that so quick.

Went to OD today and found both UPC's but couldn't find the ad you mentioned. Oh well you got a great deal, just as well I need one with USB not Serial (I have too many Serial devices already).

the 525 are $89.99, 325 are $59.99.
the displays are new and prominent at the store, so i think that's the price.

That might be the old model, the ones I saw today was the 325SER for 69.95 and the 525SER for 129.95 (reg. 179.95).

If you can find the older model of the Belkin 525VA, it should be only 29.88. I found a few of them at a clerance table at my local OD... but later returned to find only one left, which I promptly bought. It's a decent little UPS... not as fancy looking as the newer model, but more or less the same features from what I can tell, great UPS for around $30. This was about a week ago though...
