PC Liquidator sent out an email saying the "Private Sale" is the Belkin Fast Ethernet 10/100 PCI Network card for $7.99. It sounds like a good deal to me.

Yep, that is most likely a realtek chipset card. I've used those cards before and never had a problem with them. They are a very very low form factor, which is a huge plus in my opinion. You could put one of those under a video card and not worry about blocking the air flow too much.

<< dell had these for a steal back den.. less den a dollar each!! (free shipping) >>

Yeah my order for 30 got totally rejected. Sad thing is that I could've actually used all 30 for systems I've built since then.

aren't these the same cards that are on sale for $14.99 at office max less a $10 rebate?

I picked up 30 of these for $.85 ea. at Dell for a bunch of old crappy computers at work (they are all old and crappy, 486's p100s, etc can u believe that)?
Anyway, these are the realtek chip and work as good as my Intel pro 100s. They do have a small footprint. Pretty crappy of you people trying to hawk them on here tho. Bring that $hit to the fs/ft forum and don't crap in the man's thread!

They can't, "volume" selling is generally prohibited there :)
