Here is the straight skinny about how angels came to adorn the tops of Christmas trees.

One Christmas Eve, Santa was really frustrated. His list hadn't been checked twice, a few reindeer were sick, the elves had started a strike, and Mrs. Claus was giving him grief about having to spend Christmas alone.

There was a knock on the door.

Santa opened it and an angel walked in dragging a large Christmas tree and asked, "What do you want me to do with this tree?"
