I bet if I tried that, I'd be posting from my grave right now.
you probably need to worry more about the thugs not cops.

"CHECK YOUR LAW SIR. SIR CHECK YOUR LAW. I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE HERE. I DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. CHECK YOUR LAW SIR. I'M NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING YOU SAY. CHECK YOUR LAW SIR".
I think the douche in the video's point was that it is unconstitutional for them to enact such ordinances and he wanted to be cited so he could take it to federal court. While I don't know for certain, I would assume such ordinances have been unsuccessfully challenged in court before, which is why I wish the officer had cited him to waste the douche's time for a few years.
Too bad the cop didn't know that or he could have legally asked them to stop selling ammo from a sidewalk without a license.
Well, thanks to Douche McGunBoner, the authorities have that video as evidence that they were indeed in violation of the ordinance. I hope they get their ammo confiscated, and given to the police force for range practice.
Dude filming is a complete prick, whether he was legally in the right or not. And why does he repeatedly say it's his constitutional right to sell things on the street?
Too bad the cop didn't know that or he could have legally asked them to stop selling ammo from a sidewalk without a license. What I don't get is why didn't the cop go back to his car, call in the situation the the city's attorney general who could then inform him that what they were doing was illegal and to go ahead and arrest him, hopefully he resists so a nice tasing gets put on his punk-ass.
The guy in the video wanted that to happen, that was the whole point.
He seems to think there is a state law that supercedes the ordinance and wanted to challenge the ordinance. I don't know if he is right or not, but that was his point.

What he says in the video is first, that it's his Constitutional right (it isn't), and that the cop should check the city and state laws. He's also wrong about the city ordinance. Want to bet he's also wrong about the state laws?
The only state law he mentions is that he doesn't need a (state) license to sell ammo, but I'll bet you or anyone else $500 right now that this does not supersede the city ordinance regarding sidewalk vending of any sort in that municipality, for which the municipality requires a license for the vending of a broad panoply of otherwise legal items, ammo included.
One thing I think we all can agree on is that he is in multiple felonious violation of Godwin's law, vertical phone videography, high volume public blowhardism (noise ordinance), and bicyclist whining.![]()

But harassed by police officers more times than I can count.

I want some of the goofy pills that you are taking!!
Id say he is just exercising his rights. It is not his fault the cop nor the majority of he US knows what they are. If they did this wouldnt even be an issue.
I don't think it's his "right" to sell anything at that location. The officer couldn't even suggest that because the guy kept interrupting him.
