Mmm?

Admittedly, the piccy is poor -typical of those at restaurants sporting same on menus or wax mock-ups yet also belying the flavor flav inherent therein, so what can ya do?

Looks good, but damn give the customers some fries!

Welp, two taters is excessive fer two whilst one is adequate. Also, there was dessert and copious Shiraz. Besides, less allows for apprec-iation whilst too much can threaten to become monotonous.

Hmm... was compelled to correct spelling mistakes in every post. I guess I had too much :wine:

The presentation of that meal sucks.

Ja, I rarely bother with presentation. I'm sure some volks would get all frou frou and stack the taters, steak, and shrooms like a friggin' Jenga tower in a field of salad. But I prefer to simply plop it on the plate in a practical manner which retains distinct flavours and temperatures, and makes for EZ eating.

The love is barely outweighing the hate but still I would gladly cook for all of you with extra fries and mushrooms to boot.

Until recently I abstained from meat for three and a half years and ate it rarely for years before that. Concurrently, I became less inclined to have the typical three largeish meals in favour of more smaller ones (or most accurately just eating as necessary). So even that dish pictured -whilst modest by some standards, is to me a hefty meal bordering on gluttony. Ergo, more taters would push it over the edge.

Just tried bison for the first time tonight.

Me, I liked it alot, it was a little less tender than beef, but its so lean I expected that.

The flavor was way better than beef IMHO.

My wife did not care for it at all though, she doesn't like the texture.

More meat for me......

Ever since my local grocery store started carrying ground bison meat (at $1 less than lean ground beef, no less), I've been grilling it up at least once a week. LOVE that stuff!
