Wiki

"On August 28th 2007, it was announced that Interstate Bakeries would end production of Wonder Bread in the Southern California market, this will lead to a loss of 1,300 jobs. This is due to a decline in sales, as Southern Californian's in particular are partial to whole-grain breads and "premium" loaves."

I remember eating this as a kid.

i wonder why they werent competitive since they have NEW PRODUCTS (ie: whole wheat)?

zero (possibly negative) nutrition, and it's mostly air.

"Wonder Bread is also a lesser known symbol of the White Power movement. It's association of "wonder" and goodness with pure whiteness it a symbol of the Aryan nation, though its questionable health value serves as an unwitting and ironic commentary on its use as a symbol of white power.[citation needed]"

wtf?

They ought to fire their marketing department. Sell it under a different name, and double the price. Those idiot yuppies will flock to it.

No less nutrition than dozens of other brands of white bread. Plus their whole wheat is just as nutritious as any other whole wheat. This is all a pretty silly notion, that Wonder Bread is somehow lower in nutrition than everything else. It's not like the wheat they use is somehow lower in nutrients or something than other brands' wheat.
