Beginning of Law and Order...

There was this guy walking down the street with his wife and their dog when they saw a guy jacking radios.... They heard him bust a window open and the guy told his wife to wait there....he said, "I can't believe that these people get away with stealing our radios." And he took off after the guy...when he got to the car that had a broken window, there was a female passenger with blood all over her head because she had been shot.

The police arrived and one of the cops said, "It's a good thing this didn't happen in a safer neighborhood. We wouldn't have found her until tomorrow."

...I dunno, I thought it was a funny line. 😀

I agree Law and Order is an awesome show! That line you quoted sounds very much like something Lenny Brisco would say. I know he wasn't in the cast at the very beginning so it wasn't him, but that's just like his typical dry humor that I love so much.
