Beginner video editing laptop 2019

Hi,

I recently bought a gopro hero 7 black. The captured footage does not render smooth playback on my laptop which is an i5-6th gen with integrated graphics.

I am looking for a good laptop with enough punch which won't crunch my pockets.

I had the Lenovo Legion Y540 i7-9750h with GTX1660Ti in mind.

Kindly suggest any cheaper alternative which would get the job done or is it better to build a PC.

P.S: I live in India and all PC parts here are more expensive than in the US.
 
A PC is always better.

Very expensive but there are workstation laptops.

Helios 300 is best buy in my country. Not sure what is in your area for gaming laptop.
 
If you are on budget Ryzen 5 laptop are best buy, I checked amazon India website they range between 28K to 41K.

And for that i5 6th gen try to find software which support quick sync, it will boost video editing perfomance.
