I don't give money to people who ask for it. If they're asking for money they're useless. If they're doing something (playing music/doing flips) then I'll drop a buck or two depending on my mood. If they're quietly digging through the trash outside a bakery or restaurant then I'll give between $5 and $20 depending on how much I have on me. When the person isn't even trying for money, they're growing through refuse to get a scrap or two to eat, they're not leeching, they're trying to survive another day.
