Before a plunk down 50 bucks on a computer game..

What's good these days? Have max payne and that was good, but replay value is limited. I like action/adventure. MAYBE a car game if it was realistic. Good graphics a plus of course. FYI system is homebuilt. OC'd 1.4 t-bird. GF3 card, 512 meg ram, so no system limits to speak of here.
So... waddya like?

I'm VERY partial to racing games. Although I doubt you'd want to buy a 4 year old game in Grand Prix Legends, even though it is the best racing game of all time.

Dark Age of Camelot is you like the Everquest type of games. I hated EQ but I can't stop playing DAoC.

Good games:

If you don't have Red Alert 2, then you might consider it. Fun game.

If you have it, the add on, "Yuri's Revenge" is excellent.

Civilation III comes out soon. Might want to wait on that.

Rollercoaster Tycoon and addons gave me a couple months of good gaming.

IF you get Rollercoaster Tycoon, you will never see the light of day again. In fact, you'll probably never sleep again.

I got that... and 3 months later I emerged... thinking "where'd the time go".

I usually download the game demo and try it out before I buy the full game. That's how I avoided buying Red Faction.

If you have the bandwidth go dwonload some "demos." I have Operation Flashpoin, pretty good, Max Payne is better imho. I still play DII with the xpac, but you get hooked in that like EQ. Hasn't been too much out lately thats good. Red Faction is ok, wait for wolf, or just play Day of Defeat, close enough, lol.
