The neighbors came over the other day to have me take care of a honey bee problem they had - huge swarm of honey bees in one of the trees in their yard. I was happy to oblige, and gave them a big jar of honey from last year as a token of appreciation for the bees.

I'm up on a ladder, amongst the branches of the tree, with lots of bees crawling on me. Zero stings; honey bees are pretty docile when they're in a swarm. Though, scary to some people.

Concentration? Heck yeah! The entire thing was just barely balanced on the paint tray on my 8 foot step ladder. And, I had to make sure of where the queen was at by watching the bee behavior.

That's cool, and scary at same time. This is something worth saving though, honey bees are endangered more or less. Maybe not officially, but they are declining at a very fast rate.

I'd actually love to get a nest in my yard provided it was at a safe spot, would be cool to watch. I'd probably setup a web cam.

I have two cousins that are bee keepers. They have been stung in every place imaginable! Yes, the groin too.

Sadly the bee population is dwindling and Obama annexed some land for bees I guess.
