Beer recommendations!

I'm pretty new to the drinking world, even though I'm 26 (got a late start, but better late than never, right?)

Stuff I tried and liked:
Shiner Bock - probably my favorite
Sam Adam's Ocotoberfest
Sunshine Wheat Beer
Bass Pale Ale
Miller High Life
Grolsch - when not skunked
Boulevard Wheat

Stuff I tried and disliked:
Dead Guy Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - that stuff is vile
Harp
Dos Eques Amber

Looking for recommendations, or hell just list your favs and tell me if you think I will like them.

Beer!

Chimay Premiere (I can't get Bleu here), Newcastle Brown Ale and Guinness are all I drink anymore.

you didnt like Dead Guy ale???

you should be beaten
Victory - Prima Pils
Victory - Storm King stout
Seadog - anything especially their blueberry ale SOOOO GOOD
The Bag - Patato Ale - can only get this in like 3 places in Maine

Make sure to grab a 6-pack of chilli beer so you can add that to your "Didn't like" list. 😀

Grolsch
Guinness
Leinenkugels <- Yeh had to google that spelling. I like Red.
Rolling Rock <- Cheap
Grainbelt <- Cheap and local for me

We usually buy a ton of six packs of varying types of beer so we can switch it up all night.

I had some Honey Ale once and thought that was pretty tasty. havent gotten accustomed to the dark stuff.

I was surprised too. It got a lot of good reviews from friends, but it just tasted nasty to me. Who knows, maybe I got a bad batch.

Beck's and Heineken.

We're beer soul mates

I was just about to post the same thing.

Except when in a good bar, get a Boddington's or Guinness.

Dude; get the one with the ALCOHOL in it!!! That's the way to go. Dooooooooooood.

Did you have to ask your parents before coming to this website?

j/k
I like Miller lite cause you can get it in 40's and save $1 per beer.
but on the classy side I like
heineken
sam adams
new castle
and this beer I had at a chineese restauraunt the other night was awesome... came in a green bottle.

Sam Adams of various varieties (I'm partial to Cherry Wheat. Sometimes I like the Honey Porter if I want a very strong dark beer)
Saporo (japanese i think...)
Weissen (wheat) beers are great too. Try any German or other European brands. Hefenweisen, Eidleweiss, Erdinger come to mind.... Sometimes it can be hit or miss, but when one's good, it's GOOD

I don't really find Becks or Heineken all that special. Not bad though. Defniately better than the Buds and Coors.

Of course any beer will do when money's tight and the alcohol must be had in mass quantities. By the third or fourth beer it tastes just fine regardless of what it is. 🙂
(I think the only exception was a Blue Moon Pumpkin beer. I couldn't stand it. Pumpkin and beer just don't mix. Tequiza is quite disgusting too)

Man, Dos x and Harp are two pf my favorite beers. Did you have Dos with a lime? I dunno why people ruin perfectly good beer with fruit. Try it without.

Other favourites are Boddie's, Guiness, Smithwick's, Moosehead, 50, Schooner. The last three are Canadian, so you may not know them.

Newcastle Brown
Pyramid Hefeweizen
St. Pauli Girl
Red Hook Ale
Guiness
Bass
Guiness + Bass
Pacifico

Those are probably my favorites. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I prefer the Leinenkugels Honey Weiss and I love Premium.

I'm not sure if you can get either out of the midwest though.

Fat Tire, best beer period.

Very good stuff.

I also recommend:
Blue Moon
Tommyknocker Maple Brown
Guinness
Killian's Irish Red
Paulaner or HeffenWeisen
Spotted Cow

this is easy...

Beck's and Heineken.

Blech...none of that uber-pale and bitter sh!t. I'd rather drink "The Beast" or Schlitz over those.

If you like Blue Moon then I think you'd like Spotted Cow.....not sure if you can get it very far outside of Wisconsin though.
